More than 100 years of history..

Casa Grau opened its doors in 2011, but the history of this emblematic place goes much further back, when in the 19th century, Mrs. Pepita Grau made fabrics in this same place, to later take them with her car through the towns of the area, offering to everyone the opportunity to have their own curtains, towels, tablecloths ...

Today we share his same passion for bringing together and sharing our local products, blending the authenticity and tradition of local cuisine with modern cooking techniques .

In the words of Quique García, chef and founder of Casa Grau

Cooking has been my great hobby since I was a teenager. A hobby that seemed more and more suggestive to me, observing day after day the stews that my mother prepared, from whom I learned the techniques and the bases for a kitchen whose greatest secret is the dedication and quality of the ingredients necessary for each dish.

Casa Grau was finally born in 2011, when I decided to embark on this personal adventure of opening a restaurant that reflects these values of traditional cuisine rooted in our environment: Fish from the bay of Xàbia, seasonal products from our field and the best meats of the north of Spain. To these products we add our knowledge in modern and international cuisine, in order to offer you a completely different experience, an example of this is our famous "patatas bravas" with our "rogue" sauce or our latest creation the tiramisu "valencià" made with fartons and horchata !

The surroundings of Casa Grau are inspired by a story I learned about Parisian bistros, if you want to know the full story I'll be waiting for you in the restaurant with the best glass of wine!
